CrossTimber: Name Bookmarks & Activity Set Review

I really, really, really love names. As my husband will attest, I'm always excited and willing to talk about baby names, even when I'm not expecting a baby. If you love names as much as I do and find them fun and interesting, you'll love CrossTimber, a company that makes the coolest name meaning gifts and products. I recently had the opportunity to try out their Name Bookmarks and AmazingName Print Activity Sheets and let me tell you, they're awesome and perfect for this gift-giving season we're now entering, especially if your goal this holiday season is to support small businesses.
First, the Name Bookmarks. One of my biggest accomplishments as a bookworm mother is that my kids have learned to love books. My oldest daughter especially loves to read and can most often be found in a cozy chair, covered with a blanket, her nose in a book. Because we all love to read so much in our house, I knew everyone would be excited to check out and review the Name Bookmarks from CrossTimber.
I wanted to surprise everyone in my family with a bookmark so I sneakily went onto the CrossTimber website while they were sleeping and customized the bookmarks in ways I thought they would enjoy. The customization process, while being incredibly easy, was also really fun. I got to pick the bookmark image and whether to add a literary quote, bible verse, or personality trait. My husband's bookmark has one of my favorite bookish quotes of all time on it by C.S. Lewis: "You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me." And, of course, every bookmark has a name and name meaning right on the front.
The bookmarks are glossy and thick and feel like they'll be durable enough to withstand my children who are not gentle when it comes to paper goods. I'm also hoping that these bookmarks will discourage them from dog-earing their book pages (cringe cringe cringe).
As for the AmazingName Print Activity Sheets, they've been absolutely perfect for my almost 4-year-old who is just learning to write and spell her name. In fact, she just learned to spell her name so these activity sheets couldn't have come at a more perfect time as teaching her to write her name is next on my never-ending homeschool to-do list.
If you're looking for an easy personalized gift this season, check out CrossTimber. I think it would be so fun to gift someone a book with a customized Name Bookmark inside.
